SiC Processing from the Northeast part of Bavaria, like many German mid-sized companies, is a so-called Hidden Champion, with a market share of world-wide around 40 %. SiC Processing originates from the photovoltaic industry and belongs to the group of providers of specialist services, viz. the processing of used slurry. Considering the cost pressure in this booming branch, a recycling seems to be indeed promising. Besides in Germany, above all in Norway, Italy, the United States, China and Southeast Asia. Currently SiC Processing is investing in two new production sites in China – in Zhenjiang, Province Jiangsu, and in Jingdezhen, Province Jiangxi.

The first halls of the new production site in Zhenjiang were finished and taken into operation in August 2011. Further halls are under construction. To ensure clients of a durably smooth running of the recycling, SiC Processing has based its investments in China on a KORODUR industrial floor. The handling was coordinated by company Shanghai Golden Bridge, the installation was carried out by the local applicator Shanghai Xiao Jie. Considering the expected mechanical stress demands, partially extreme stress, in the individual production sections, the product NEODUR HE 3 and NEODUR HE 3 SVS 3 – in dry shake procedure – were used.
