At the German company Bohnenkamp AG a difficult task had to be solved: a 50 mm wide building separation joint with a height offset of 50 mm had to be closed by a special joint profile. Into use came a heavy-duty joint profile in a width of 230 mm.

First, the concrete gap was cut along both sides so far that enough space was given for the profile and the mortar. Following, the gap was pre-wet, the MORTAR MIX applied in a stiff consistency and the profile accurately placed. The areas above the anchoring were likewise filled with MORTAR MIX, this time in flowable consistency, and adapted.

Working time for 60 m of joint repair: 3 days. The joint was ready for traffic already 1,5 hours after Installation.
