Humidity and frost are the biggest enemies of concrete and cement.

This staircase shows typical signs of wear and tear as well as several weathering influences causing the edge area to become loose. With this staircase in a public area, the wellbeing and live of pedestrians is put at risk in case someone slips and falls down.

The missing substance in the surface could be replaced by CONCRETE MIX and CEMENT ALL fast and easily. Loose parts were simply removed and the supporting ground was pre-wetted with water, before both paste-like products were successively applied. Then the surface was trowelled during the hardening process.

After as little as 2 hours, the pedestrians‘ safety was restored and the staircase was opened for foot traffic again.
