Dry-Mix Shotcreting
With the dry-mix shotcreting method (also called pneumatic conveying method) the mortar is transported pneumatically. The MICROTOP dry mortar is transported with compressed air to the spray nozzle. Only there water is added. The mixed MICROTOP shotcrete mortar leaves the nozzle, hits onto the application area and compacts to the most part by its own kinetic energy. The distance between spray nozzle and application area should be between 80 – 100 cm.
The dry-mix shotcreting method with MICROTOP shotcrete mortar characterizes by very good processing properties and large conveying distances.
