It is an accelerating additive designed to speed the hardening of the cement.

For applications at normal temperature range (15 – 20° C) the setting behavior of the Rapid Set Products is very fast. With decreasing temperatures, the setting time increases contra-rotating. If also at low temperature condition (building material building part, mix water) an extremely fast setting behavior is desired, FAST can be added.

One packet contains 80 g.

1 – 4 packets per 25 kg bag are possible, depending on the job site conditions and the desired mortar properties. A trial batch is recommended to adapt the mix to the local conditions.

FAST is added to the mix water before the Rapid Set material. This results in a better distribution in the mortar mix.

FAST can be used in combination with other Rapid Set Concrete Pharmacy Products or other qualified additives.

FAST will accelerate the setting behavior of other portland cement products. A trial batch is recommended to determine the proper dosage.
