In October 2013, the press reported that the internet giant Amazon is investing in three new distribution centers in Europe, viz. in Poland. Two arise in Wroclaw (Breslau), the third one in Poznan (Posen). Together, the three logistic centers will provide a storage area of more than 300,000 m².
Based on the previous projects in Germany – Bad Hersfeld (2009), Augsburg (2011), Rheinberg (2011), Pforzheim (2012), and Koblenz (2012) – Amazon also in Wroclaw trusts in proven quality: in the highly wear-resistant KORODUR industrial floors. Both projects have again gigantic dimensions of each 120.000-130.000 m²! In the summer of 2014, the new distribution centers will be fully operational.
The installation of the KORODUR industrial floor (NEODUR HE 3) was carried out by the specialized installers and long-term partners of KORODUR, company PPP Posadzki Przemyslowe Polska Sp z oo from Wegrzce Wielkie / Poland. The requirements of the builder owner were not only a tight schedule, but also an almost joint-free floor. To meet these demands PPP installed up to 6.000 m² of industrial floors per day in field sizes of 1.200 m².
In the long term a heavy duty and extremely wear-resistant KORODUR industrial floor always is the best and most economic solution.
