In autumn 2016, Fazer, Scandinavian’s leading chocolate producer, celebrated its 125th anniversary by opening a visitor centre with a memorable exhibition, a Fazer Café and a store, as well as event and meeting services. The Visitor Centre, located at their confectionery factory in Vantaa, Finland, is a prime example of Finnish design and work. Using all their senses, visitors experience Fazer’s activities, its extensive product selection as well as its long history, corporate responsibility and innovations.
The avant-gardist building, in the shape of two circles with a botanical garden at the centre of one of them, was designed by Arkkitehtitoimisto K2S Oy architects.
The light, polished design floor GRANDIUR BIANCO in granite optics provides a magnificent background for Fazer’s seductive, dark chocolate products. Visitors may indulge in the sweet, delicious confectionaries while enjoying the unique, appealing architecture, turning the visiting experience into something fresh and different. Well-being and a balance of luxuries are the visitor centre’s main themes. Since our GRANDIUR BIANCO design floor is a natural, mineral and sustainable product, it harmoniously brings the overall architecture to perfection.
