The catalogue of plates and signs of company Moedel GmbH in Amberg includes more than 9.500 security products. For more than 25 years Moedel has been the reliable top-quality producer of orientation systems for indoors and outdoors. On an area of totally 12.500 m² a staff of 90 qualified employees develops and produces innovative signs, door plates, orientation signs, guiding and orientation systems for safety marking.

In cooperation with architects, planning engineers, advertising technicians and agencies, Moedel sets on contemporary design of its information systems. Moedel likewise sets on contemporary floor design with its investment of 5 Million Euro for the construction of a new production hall with administration building in the industrial zone North of Amberg. In cooperation with the Amberg architectural office Harth + Flierl at the foyers of the administration building a KORODUR design floor KCF 05 (former definition SECUNDUR) in the colour anthracite was installed on an area of approx. 400 m².
Already in November 2008, a wear-resistant KORODUR industrial was installed in the new production hall with an area of 4.000 m². There was no need to emphasize in particular that KORODUR world-wide is a synonym for industrial and design floors as the KORODUR headquarters are in close proximity to the new Moedel building.
The KCF design floor was finished in the KOROCLEAN procedure and maintenance treated. For the grinding works, company RSB Steinbodensanierung & Bodenschleiftechnik, Regensburg, marks out. With the sophisticated grinding technique from company MKS Funke and relevant expert competence, company RSB is an important partner in the field of modification of industrial and design floors.
