With the new construction of the corporate headquarters in Wetzlar, Leica returned to its origins where a hundred years ago, the first successful photographic camera was invented. Since then, the name Leica stands for high quality and innovative cameras and lenses. On a ground area of 27.000 m² the complex accommodates the production, the administration, the academy and the customer service departments.
The new Leica headquarters convince not only by their unique architectural design but also by the modern and attractive atmosphere created inside the buildings.
Equally, tradition and modernity are reflected, past and future, quality and perfection. These values are enhanced by a timeless elegant GRANIDUR floor, produced in precise craftsmanship. In the basement of the corporate headquarters, a polished decorative floor, GRANIDUR BIANCO, has been installed on an area of approx. 3.000 m² in an average layer thickness of 15 mm.
