Noora is the new main building of the National Archives of Estonia, located in Tartu. Noora is home of Estonia’s written memory. Its main task is to ensure the preservation and usability of all documented historical and cultural heritage for todays and future generations.
The project planning started in December 2010. The construction works began in December 2014. Noora had its cornerstone laid on 15 April 2015 and was officially opened on 1 February 2017.
As flooring solution, the decision fell on the KORODUR decorative screed KCF, a smoothed screed in marble optics, in a deep grey/anthracite shade. KCF KORODUR COPETTI FLOOR perfectly complements both the state-of-the-art interior architecture of the archives and the design-oriented facade of the building. Just like a unique historical document, each one of the KCF floors is unique in color and structure.
