A company parking area in Metzingen was extremely damaged and the risk of injury due to structural breaks in the concrete surface was increased. Thus, a fast solution was needed.

The challenge for Fischer, a company for garden design and landscaping, was to repair the damaged concrete layer fast and sustainably. The product used was Rapid Set MORTAR MIX, a fast setting repair mortar. The damaged areas were chiselled out until a supportive surface was reached. Then those sections were thoroughly cleaned, pre-wetted and finally restored with a layer thickness of 7 cm to 10 cm to gain a durable solution.

Apart from a broad range of applications, e. g. for layer thicknesses of 1.5 cm to 15 cm, MORTAR MIX fulfils any requirements of re-profiling in a single product – without additional bonding bridge or fine finishing.

The job was completed after a total of 4 hour s and then the parking area could be used again without any restrictions.
