The METRO wholesale market in Langenzersdorf was more than „only“ retreaded. The remodeling took eight months. 70.000 work hours were invested. No stone was left unturned. Now the oldest Metro location in Austria, around 15 km North of Vienna’s city center, shines in new splendor, this also due to the newly installed KORODUR floors in the sales rooms, in special in the food sector.

In the fore-field over a period of one year, numerous flooring systems had been tested. The KORODUR rapid flooring system NEODUR HE 50 rapid SVS 5 with its excellent product properties, high wear resistance, fast-setting feature and light color tone, convinced the client.

The restoration with the KORODUR rapid screed was carried out in several stages. To prevent optical staining of the floors when used, the finished and cleaned surfaces were treated with a surface protection product from OBTEGO.
The METRO market could be re-opened on schedule in November 2015.
