The warehouse of the famous department store chain John Lewis Partnership in North London, in Stevenage, has been in use for many years. For storing the merchandise, high stack fork lifts are used. The fork lifts have been running in the same ways for more than 20 years, having worn out the floor over the years. This constant traffic had formed a deep groove, which affected a smooth operation. A quick solution for the repair had to be found.

For the repair all racks were removed. To fill the groove, the Rapid Set multipurpose repair mortar CEMENT ALL was chosen. The groove had a length of more than 1.000 linera meters. CEMENT ALL was mixed with 4 l of water and applied in the groove by trowel with smooth finish of the surface. A 3-men team performed around 50 – 100 linear meters per day.

The repair works went really fast to the full satisfaction of the customer.
